Your decision to join the Alter(Ed) Online Recovery Small Group is a powerful step toward healing, growth, and freedom in Christ. Here are a few simple ways to get the most out of this experience:

1. Show Up Consistently

Healing takes time — and consistency. Make it a priority to attend each session and treat this time as sacred. Every meeting builds on the last, and your presence matters to the group.

2. Come with an Open Heart

Whether you're just beginning or deep in your recovery journey, come ready to receive encouragement, biblical truth, and accountability. Let God speak to you through His Word and through others.

3. Engage Honestly

This is a judgment-free zone. Share as you're comfortable, but know that honesty opens the door to transformation. You're not alone, and your story matters.

4. Respect Privacy and Boundaries

What’s shared in the group stays in the group. We build trust by protecting each other’s stories and experiences.

5. Stay Connected Between Meetings

Check your email or text for reminders and resources we may send between sessions. If you ever need prayer or someone to talk to, don’t hesitate to reach out.

6. Pray for Yourself and Others

Ask God to help you grow in the process and pray for the others in the group too. This isn’t just recovery — it’s spiritual transformation through Christ.

7. Apply What You Learn

Take notes. Reflect on Scripture. Live out the lessons. Real growth happens not just in the meeting, but in how you respond throughout the week.

πŸ’¬ You’re not here by accident. God is doing something new in you. Let this group be part of your testimony of transformation.

Yes, I will make sure you get credit for your participation.
